These little boys had the best time over the weekend. Oh, and did I mention they dressed themselves?

My boys and I attended a delightful Christmas Party on my birthday, held at Disney’s TV Animation Studios in Burbank.

It was a Disney Junior Magical Holidays Event with activities, food, special screenings and even the chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Since I had not attended a fun event with my sons in a while, I planned this trip carefully because I had a feeling it would be a time well-spent…. and boy, was I right!

In typical Disney fashion, we were welcomed into a festive celebration where we had a yummy lunch, delicious treats like brownies, popcorn and even a hot cocoa station. The boys were enjoying every minute with frequent trips to the food and soft drink station!

When they felt it was time to sit and watch some Disney animated specials, they picked up popcorn bags and entered the small theater where they enjoyed screenings of new Disney Junior holiday episodes like the brand-new “SuperKitties: Merry Mousemas” and stop-motion shorts “Mickey’s Christmas Tales”.

Afterwards, we decorated cookies, created our own Christmas ornaments and even participated in a coloring activity.

Most importantly, the party gave us a chance to witness Disney’s partnership with Toys for Tots. Several local military families were treated to a magical time as part of Disney’s Ultimate Toy Drive.

Thanks so much for this wonderful invite, Disney. It’s one thing knowing you guys do a great job helping communities but seeing it unfold through this event was extra special!
